The Druggie and the Nun

The Druggie and the Nun

In this world of contradiction,
Perfectly fit do they,
Two with varying convictions,
One curious and the other who prays!
But then in the middle,
There’s Nigel to see,
The solution to the riddle,
The only one there could be!

She indulges in prayer,
When sorrow finds its peak,
She is heaven’s glowing solitaire,
Pious, obedient and meek!
And then there is her,
Curious and adventurous,
Devoid of limits and fear,
Striking her sister preposterous!
And then in the middle with his innocent voice,
Dwelling between a drastic contrast,
In his years of transition to women from toys,
Little Nigel, growing tremendously fast!

Lawful in society she peacefully exists,
With the creator at heart, His will at mind,
The rosary gracefully rolling at her wrists,
Few of those gems the church wishes to find!
But then she who believes not in boundaries,
Exploring worlds beyond the normal,
Considering this world an abandoned foundry,
Rebuilding it to her desires, limitless and paranormal!
But then between with his heart-capturing smile,
Unknowingly binding the demarcated two,
Cruising along the years of life truly worthwhile,
In the dark space of separation, causing the hue!

And then the rain poured,
Causing the air chill and vicious,
The wind raged and the thunder roared,
Lightning bright and severely malicious!
A cup of tea and The Bible at hand,
She gains wisdom within her room,
Learning of what the Lord has for her planned,
Yearning for righteousness and a life of bloom!
But a few feet away in a world of her own,
Comfortably sprawled watching the skies,
Exploring her mind, at peace and alone,
Untouched by the world’s laws and lies!
And then between it all running around,
With numerous things in his mind to share,
Regulating tempers to levels safe and sound,
The perfect combination, so necessary yet so rare!

In peace and felicity they shall proceed,
With desires so different, yet hearts so close,
Wishing to carry out such diametrical deeds,
Living behind the same, yet different doors!
A mix of two extremes, yet the perfect blend
Similarities so few, considered there are none,
But to the other always they remain a friend,
With Nigel in the middle, the druggie and the nun!
