Sky That Shines

Closed eyes, in a blinded existence,

Bleeding thoughts that create reality

God and Earth when will commune?

I ask the hope that floats in air

Ego has died, I open my eyes,

Time surrenders at my feet

The sky that shines, the sun that dances,

All to proclaim mankind’s salvation!



If the heart is hungry, it shall eat,

If the mind is thirsty, it shall drink

But how much I wonder and how long,

Will we run the race of greed and desire?

The leaves are singing, time to hear,

Truth makes love to my wandering soul

Peeling the layers of colored reality,

I see the men who worship hypocrisy

Creating the ocean of my imagination,

I swim and I swim for all eternity

If I sell my mind to mundane desires,

How will I touch the skies of salvation?

If my ego I nourish how will I know?

If the truth is real or a false projection

So I forget the colors of my former reality,

And take my place as the drop in the ocean
